Learning with Jomil A!
5:45 AMIn my last post, I mentioned that I'll be having a workshop... but apparently, I had two workshops last month! Honestly, I like teaching about watercolor and brush lettering. You know that lovely feeling when you see their final outputs... and when you see their fulfilled hearts? Yup!
I held my first Watercolor x Brush Lettering Workshop last October 22 at Cafe Mithi, Maginhawa, Quezon City. I taught six talented ladies.. only minimal supervision was needed! Grabe.

These ladies were working on their own while munching their Masagana bowls. They know how to use their tools and I think the questions they only asked was how to write certain letters!
Here are my students and their lovely outputs ♥

Last October 27, together UP Diliman College of Education's Student Council, we conducted a Watercolor Calligraphy Workshop! The experience was different since it was more of a class. I had 30 students for this workshop. Actually, upon launching the registration form, we receive 94+ forms within 15 hours. What?!

I posted some of my recent artworks for the students to see. I also sold some of my items! I had bookmarks, art prints, stickers, and a lot more! (Btw, thanks to everybody who purchased!)
Since we only had 1.5 hours for this class, I had to improvise my usual module. I made sure that although the time is limited, their learning would not be compromised. Of course, we had drills and soOooOo oooon....
Yay for class picture! It was a different experience. Thank you UPD CE Student Council for this (especially to Alain!). ♥
Thanks UPD CE Student Council for the photos!
